even thugh尽管;in that因为;nw that既然。
be determined never/nt t d决心不……,表示心理状态。
    5.C hang n a minute稍等;等一会儿;get a mve n快点儿吧;hell和wh’s that都是接通电话时的用语。
n end连续不断地;cme t an end结束。
    7.C be in n md fr sth./t d sth.
    8.B be curius abut对……
    10.D nly t find
    11.A warn sb.t d sth.
    12.C make up编造;虚构(故事等);put up提出,建立;give up放弃;shw up露面。

make a mistake发生在did the experiment again之前,故应用过去完成时。
(I’m Wendy and I’m building smething.)

    7.B 根据后面一句话(Mum says sandpipers cme t bring us jy.)
    11.C belng t
She pinted tward a summer cttage可知,作者是问小女孩的住处。
    1.A 指代题。
