This is a cat. 这是一只猫。
类似的句子还有That is ... 那是……。如:
That is Jenny. 那是詹妮。

2.Presentation
Use the sentence "what's her name?"to introduce our friend. Translate the dialogue and explain:And who’s the girl with Mr. Jones?
