Asthma is a disease that makes it hard t breathe and results when the lung’s airways are inflamed.An estimated 235 millin peple wrldwide currently have asthma,which can cause wheezing as well as life-threatening attacks.
The Wrld Health Organizatin calls air pllutin “a majr envirnmental risk t health” and has established Air Quality Guidelines fr NO2 and ther air pllutants.The researchers estimate that mst children lived in areas belw the current NO2 guideline.They als fund that abut 92 percent f the new pediatric asthma cases that were caused by NO2 ccurred in areas that already meet the WHO guideline.
