T：Hell，everyne！Tday we will finish a meaningful prject—a debate n the questin：D we need t memrize things？First，let's have a brainstrming：Think abut this questin：“Is it still necessary t memrize things when they can be fund nline？” What is yur pinin？Write dwn yur pinin and at least three reasns t supprt it.Then share with yur grup.(Students brainstrm and share，and the teacher writes the representative pinins and reasns n the blackbard： things trains ur brain；we can use infrmatin right away；smetimes，nline infrmatin is lst./Memrizing things takes up t much time；thinking skills are much mre imprtant；everything we need is already nline.)
设计意图：通过头脑风暴，让学生梳理对 “是否需要记忆” 的观点，结合自身认知储备进行拓展，激活学生的知识积累，为辩论项目做好内容铺垫；小组分享培养学生的交流能力与批判性思维。
Activity 2 Preparing fr the debate(4c)
T：Nw，let's wrk in grups t prepare fr the debate.First，based n different pinins，frm tw debate teams：ne team supprts “We need t memrize things，” and the ther supprts “We dn't need t memrize things.” Then，use examples and data t supprt yur pinins.Yu can lk fr real­life examples，scientific data，r persnal experiences t make yur arguments strnger.(Students wrk in grups t cllect examples and data，and the teacher walks arund t guide and help students find supprting materials.)设计意图：通过分组和搜集论据，让学生进一步思考观点的合理性，培养学生的信息搜集与逻辑论证能力；小组合作增强学生的团队协作意识。
Activity 3 Having the debate(4d)
T：Great！Nw，it's time fr ur debate.Each grup will take turns t speak.The first speaker will state yur grup's pinin，and then the ther members can add mre reasns and examples.The presentatin time is abut 2 minutes per grup.After all grups have spken，we will have a shrt Q & A sessin.(Students present their arguments，and the teacher cmments n each grup's wrk and gives encuragement.Then the teacher awards the “Best Debate Team” t the excellent grups.)

Activity 4 Reflecting
T：After finishing the prject，let's reflect n what we have learnt in this unit.Lk at the fur reflecting questins n Page 40.First，think abut the questins by yurselves and then discuss with yur partner.Finally，I will invite sme students t share their reflectins in class.(Students think and discuss，and the teacher invites several students t share their reflectins.)
设计意图：通过反思与分享，引导学生系统总结本单元的知识与收获，实现语言知识与情感体验的双重升华。让学生结合自身实际谈感悟，将提高记忆的方法转化为实际行动，达成本单元的情感教育目标。
