动词knw、understand后可以接宾语从句。宾语从句可由疑问词(如hw、why)引导。宾语从句使用陈述语序(即“疑问词+主语+谓语 ”)。
1.疑问词引导的宾语从句
宾语从句可以由疑问词 what, which, wh, where, when, hw, why 等引导。疑问词在句中有实际意义,且在宾语从句中充当句子成分,不能省略。疑问代词在从句中作主语、宾语、表语和定语等;疑问副词在从句中作状语。用于这种结构的动词常常是 ask, decide, discver, knw, see,shw, tell, understand, wnder 等。需要特别注意的是,特殊疑问句在该结构中一定要用陈述语序,同时句子用问号还是句号,取决于主句。
