Then, it ges thrugh the terraces and finally int the rivers. By using this natural water flw, we can water the fields withut machines.This system respects nature because it wrks with the muntains and water, nt against them.
It helps peple understand hw nature and farming can wrk tgether.It can help imprve the lives f lcal farmers by giving them fd and a healthy envirnment.Thanks t this system, peple can harvest nt nly rice but als fish frm the terraces.It has helped prtect the frest and prvide clean water fr everyne.

Hani Rice Terraces I’m ging t talk abut the Hani Rice Terraces in Yunnan. Built in the muntains ver 1,300 years ag, the terraces cver arund 180,000 hectares and extend at a height f abut 1,500 metres. Water frm muntain springs flws past the villages, thrugh the terraces, and finally int rivers. Frests, villages, terraces and waterways all wrk tgether in a natural cycle. Because f this system, peple can harvest rice and fish. It has als helped prtect the frest and prvide clean water. It shws us why we shuld live in harmny with nature.
