3. 综合运用本单元的词汇知识与表达以及语篇结构知识与表达,撰写一封倡议信,为患病同学募集医疗费,内容涵盖帮助的对象、面临的困境、需要什么帮助、帮助措施、发出呼吁;
4. 呼吁更多的人伸出援助之手帮助需要帮助的人,培养社会责任感和互助精神。
教学内容
教学重点:
学会在写作前运用表格整理自己的想法;

教学过程
Step 1 Free talk and lead-in
1. Have students talk abut hw they can help:
the lcal children in the Western areas f China /
an elderly neighbur wh has difficulty walking /
the primary schl students in ur cmmunity /
a middle schl student wh is seriusly ill.
Have students read the rubrics in Part D and try t raise sme questins abut the student mentined.
Step 2 Reading
1. Have students read and g thrugh the table in Part D1 and find ut sme infrmatin abut the student wh needs help.
2. Have students read the letter in Part D2 and wrk ut the structure f the letter.
3. Have students read the letter again t find ut useful expressins in the letter and think f mre similar expressins.
Step 3 Writing
Have students pay attentin t the writing tips befre they start t write the letter.
Have students knw abut the steps fr writing.
Have students knw abut the evaluatin criteria.
Have students write their wn letter asking fr help.
Step 4 Evaluating
Have students check their wn letter accrding t the evaluatin criteria.
Have students check their partner’s letter.
Have students read the sample writing.
Step 5 Summary
Have students summarize what they have learned in this lessn and frm this unit.
Step 6 Hmewrk
Need t:
1. Plish yur letter and share it with yur classmates in class.
2. Review the whle unit and make a mind map t summarize what yu have learned in this unit.
Chse t:
Design a “Small Acts, Big Light” Prject with yur partner, planning wh t help and hw t help him/her/them.
