用来指不确定的对象(人,事物和数量),它们既能单独充当句子成分(主语、宾语、表语等),也能修饰名词。
英语中的不定代词有很多,用法也比较灵活,本单元简单介绍常用的几个。
neither & nne
I saw tw bys at the dr, but neither (f them) is my brther.
I saw tw runners.They weren’t my brthers.
neither 表示对两者的否定。
注意:neither通常指代可数名词复数,作主语时,谓语动词用三单形式。
Nne (f the students) in my class wants / want t give up.
There are mre than tw students. They dn’t want t give up.
nne 表示对三者及以上的否定。
注意:当nne 指代“可数名词复数”(如 students, bks, cars 等)时,谓语动词用单数或复数均正确。
注意:当nne 指代“不可数名词”(如 water, mney, time, infrmatin 等)时,此时主语视为“单数概念”,谓语动词用三单形式。

=All f us passage the exam.
We all passed the exam.
all f...:后接代词(us/them/yu)时,“f”不可省略;后接名词时,“f” 可省略。
all 可放在主语之后, 可转换为bth f …结构。
nt bth:表示“并非两者都”(部分否定,区别于“neither两者都不”)。
e.g. Nt bth f the films are interesting.(并非两部电影都有趣,即“一部有趣,一部无趣”)
nt all:表 “并非全部都”(部分否定,区别于“nne 全部都不”)。
e.g. Nt all the students passed the exam.(并非所有学生都通过了考试,即 “部分通过,部分没通过”)
指代“三者以上”或不可数名词的全部
指代可数名词复数,用复数;指代不可数名词,用单数
