    The best way t prepare is t try t immerse themselves in English befre they g abrad. They shuld watch a variety f English-language films and TV prgrammes withut using subtitles, listen t English sngs, and use every pprtunity t speak with native English speakers.
    Anther challenge may be cming t terms with the differences in a culture that is different t their wn Lcals, hwever, will generally be understanding that the student is new t the cuntry, and will appreciate attempts t learn and understand mre abut their culture. That is why it is best t be kind, respectful, and enthusiastic t try new things when in a freign cuntry--lcals will be mre willing t help new students and will be patient.
    It can als be scary t try t fit int the new lifestyle while there, since it is s different t their wn. Maybe students will face times when they dn’t understand the prper way t d smething, such as paying utility bills. In this case, there is always smene wh is willing t help--either at yur university campus r even in a lcal shp.
