与旧教材相比,有四大显著的变化:第一,进一步发挥“主题”在驱动学习、联结活动、促动实践中的核心作用。第二,立足语篇,丰富体裁。提升学科核心素养,关键问题之一即为丰富文本体裁,使学生接触各类型的语篇,丰富语言感知与学习体验。基于此,我们在本套教材中特别增加了一定数量的文学体裁文本和网络体裁文本。第三,创新活动设计,指向学科核心素养,严格落实新课程标准规定的英语学习活动观,围绕主题语境,基于多模态语篇,将听、说、读、看、写等各项技能要求和训练落实到有意义的学习活动中帮助学生在获取信息、处理信息的同时掌握语言技能、建构完善的知识基础,同时提升语境下语言活动中的语言技能实践能力,包括《课标》中新提出的“看(viewing)”的能力要求。第四,突出文化意识(尤其是跨文化意识)的建构与发展。我们在教材修订中注重在语篇中体现热点话题、典型篇章、经典语言,注重英语历史文化中名人名篇的选取及现代热点话题下的英语鲜活篇章和结构的介绍,让学生了解英语反映的英美等国的社会和文化。

Besides,my British rmmate als said “Cheers” t me when she asked me t pass smething t her while we were cking tgether.“Cheers” is frequently used by the British peple in daily infrmal cnversatins fr small favrs,such as pening drs fr yu r lending yu a pen.It is nt as frmal as “Thanks” r “Thank yu”,but is used rather frequently in daily cnversatins.
Chinese students were taught at schl that when a custmer(顾客) went t a stre,shp assistants wuld ask “What can I d fr yu?” Hwever,I never heard the exactly same expressin when I was in the UK.N shp assistants wuld greet and fllw custmers arund as in China.Only when custmers asked fr help r lked lst wuld shp assistants cme up t them and ask “Are yu all right?” It seemed like they were ging t prvide help,but custmers wuld nrmally say “Yeah,thanks.” unless they really needed help.Interestingly,when I heard “Are yu all right?” fr the first time,I didn’t knw hw t answer it and even explained that I was just lking arund and I didn’t need help.Hw embarrassing(令人尴尬的) it was!
