Unit 1My wife and I went  on  vacation in London last year. We went there in autumn. We thought it was the  best  season to visit England. Running is becoming one of the most popular activities these days. Many of us run for our  health . Doctors say many of the health problems come from bad habits,  such  as eating too much, smoking, staying up late and not having enough exercise. Doctors tell us, "Eat less, don't smoke, have enough sleep and  exercise  more." Running is good exercise because it  helps  us build a strong body. It alsohelps many people lose  weight . One 25-year-old woman teacher runs for half an hour in the morning five  times  a week. She runs to look thin. "I feel comfortable and I'm not  fat  any more," she says. Many runners say running makes some small health problems go  away ." Running is my doctor," says a man. Running can also help people relaxed. "After school, I like to run forten minutes. Then I feel active and energetic," says Yang Min, a middle school student. So today men and women of all ages enjoy  running . Do you want to keep fit? Come on! Let's join in running！ Unit 3I have an online friend Zhang Kai. He  studies/is studying  in Sunshine Middle School in Beijing. It's a large school. There are 3,500 students and 158  teachers  in their school.Zhang Kai's school life is very interesting. He has five  lessons  every day and I have eight. After class, he often goes to the Buddy Club first,  because  he can learn some life skills there. Every Friday afternoon, the students in their school have a soccer match. He isn't good at  playing  soccer, but he always goes to watch the matches.Different  from  him, I can spend only about half an hour playing every day, because I have to  help  my parents do the housework after class. And I have  less  time for studying than him. Every summer, I have six-week holiday but Zhang Kai has eight. I hope I can join some clubs  like  Zhang Kai. And I hope our school life is as  interesting  as his.
