【教学目标】
1.帮助学生理解短文《郭老师的上班路线》。通过阅读活动及反馈练习,引导学生抓住关键信息。
2.通过Draw and say,学生把自己上学的路线展示出来,并作介绍,以巩固核心句型。
3.通过学习任务(Task),帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元的知识和技能。

词汇:Ms, underground, take, after, hour, bus stop, get off.

【教学过程】
Ⅰ. Pre-task preparations
1.复习Learn the sounds的歌摇。可分组朗读。
2.出示各个城市的轨道交通标识、公交、车站等图片,为教学Look and read做铺垫。
T: Look. This is a bus in Shenyang. Look at this (point to a bus stop). What is it?
Ss: It's a bus stop. We can wait here for the bus.
T: Yes. This is a bus stop. It's a bus stop for Bus No. 2.
T: (show pictures of different underground stations.) What is this place?
Ss: It's an underground station.
T: Yes. We can take the train from here.
Ⅱ. While-task procedures
1.介绍Look and read短文中的主要人物Ms Guo.
T: Look, this is Ms Guo. She's a teacher. How does she go to work? Guess.
S1: She goes to work on foot.
S2: She goes to work by underground.
展示Look and read后续练习中的地图,指出Ms Guo的家和学校的位置。
T: Now, do you know how Ms. Guo goes to work?
S1: She goes to work by underground, by bus and on foot.
T: Does she live far or near from her school?
S2: She lives far from her school.
2.播放Look and read的多媒体或录音,逐幅学习课文内容。
问题 1:
(1)What can you see? (I can see an underground station.)
(2)How does Ms Guo go to the underground station? (She walks there.)
问题 2:
Where does she get off? (She gets off at Park Street Station.)
问题 3:
Which bus does she take? (She takes Bus No.12.)
问题 4:
Which bus stop does she get off? (She gets off at Spring Street Bus Stop.)
3.出示站名Green Street Station, Park Street Station和Spring Street Bus Stop,打乱顺序。
学生再一次完整听课文录音后,根据Ms Guo的上班路线排序。
4.让学生跟录音朗读课文,并根据课文内容填空。
Ms. Guo is a teacher. She lives far away from her school. There is an underground station near her home. She walks there and takes the train to Park Street Station. Then she gets off the train and takes No.12 to Spring Street. She then goes to school on foot from Spring Street Bus Stop. |
学生完成Look and read的后续练习。
Ⅲ. Post-task activities
1.教师展示自己上班路上经过的车站照片,向学生介绍上班路线。
T: I live far from school. I come to school by underground and by bus. First, I go to this bus stop (show a picture). Then I take the underground from this station (show a picture). I get off at…(station) Then I walk to school.
可根据Draw and say圈出上班路线并标上站名,也可以展示地图,配合描述。然后开展Draw and say中的活动,让学生以自己的家为中心,在画框内标上学校及邻近公交、轨道交通车站,画出上学的路线。让学生在全班展示作品,并描述一下自己上学的路线:
S: I live on … (name) Street. This is my home.
I live near/far from school. My school is on… (name) Street. I go to school on foot, I leave home at a quarter past seven in the morning.
2.根据《练习册》中的Task,要求每个学生自己完成Think and write,教师先让学生反馈他们想去的地方,然后把学生按地点分组,学生在组内完成Complete and discuss,决定怎样去和在那里做什么。最后,作为回家作业,请学生依据表中填写的内容完成Think and write。
