Ⅰ. Pre-task preparations

1．学生欣赏并轻声跟唱歌曲This is the way.

Ss: This is the way I wash my face, wash my face, and wash my face.

This is the way I wash my face so early in the morning.

2．教师用生词图片卡或多媒体出示各种交通工具，学生跟着教师一起边做动作边诵读儿歌。

This is the way I come to school, I come to school, I come to school.

This is the way I come to school. I come to school on foot, (show the picture for on foot)

This is the way I come to school, I come to school, I come to school.

This is the way I come to school. I come to school by bike, (show the picture for by bike)

Ⅱ. While-task procedures

1．展示各种交通工具的图片，看图说话，教授核心句型及词汇。

T: I live near our school. I come to school ... (show the flashcard for on foot)

I come to school on foot.

S1: I come to school on foot.

S2: I come to school on foot too.

T: I come to school on foot. I can also say “I walk to school”.

请班里步行上学的学生集体说。

Ss: I walk to school.

T: Do you come to school on foot? (Ask one of the students.)

T: How do you come to school? (Ask the students to pick up one of the pictures of different vehicles.)

2．学生听课文录音，回答相关问题。

（4）Who walk to school together? (Alice and Kitty walk to school together.)

（5）Who lives far from school? (Joe lives far from school.)

3．学生在教师指导下阅读课文，完成下面的表格，再完成后续练习。

解释come to及go to的用法。

T: How do you come to school?

S1: I come to school by car.

T: How do you go home?

S1: I go home on foot.

T: (S1's name) comes to school by car, and he/she goes home on foot. He/she is now here at school, so we say“(S1's name) comes to school by car.” If he/she is now at home, we say“(S1's name) goes to school by car.” and“(S1's name) comes home on foot.”

4．学生分角色表演课文。然后开展小组活动，在小组中分角色表演对话。

学生结对子，然后根据图片开展问答。

2．学生准备一些卡片，进行句型操练。在一组卡片上写下目的地（如超市、图书馆、公园），另一组卡片写上交通工具，如car, on foot, bike, bus等，安排学生分别抽取目的地和交通工具的卡片，然后师生问答。
