1.worry about failing a test  担心考试不过关（及格）

【解读】（1）worry about = be worried about     担心

    eg:Your parents are always worried about your study.

          你的父母常常担忧你的学习。

          Don’t worry about the test the day after tomorrow.

           不要担心后天的考试。

 (2) fail是失败的意思 ，名词形式为failure ，动词形式为 fail 。 其反义词是成功，名词形式为success，动词形式为succeed。形容词形式为 successful，副词形式为successfully。

eg：Failure is the mother of success.   失败是成功之母。                   

He is a successful businessman. 他是一位成功的商人。             

She got there successfully in a rainy day.

她在下雨天成功地到达那里。

2.Parents should not be too strict with teenagers.

家长不能对青少年太严厉。

【解读】strict作形容词，意为“严厉的，严格的”；

be strict with sb.意为“对某人要求严格”;
be strict in sth.表示“对某方面要求严格”。

1)史密斯先生对他的孩子们要求十分严格。

2) 对工作我们应该严格要求。
