A huge sectin f the Milne Ice Shelf, lcated n Ellesmere Island in the nrthern Canada, cllapsed int the Arctic Ocean, accrding t the Canadian Ice Service. This created an “ice island” which is abut 30 square miles in size. As a cmparisn, Manhattan Island is abut 23 square miles.

Reaching the summit f Munt Qmlangma, the wrld's highest muntain,is every climber's dream. Hwever, despite imprvements in equipment and weather frecasting systems, the treacherus climb cntinues t cause a few deaths yearly. The 2019 climbing seasn has been the deadliest since 2014.
