设计说明 首先通过自由谈论“What problem do you have in your life?”导入新课,然后学习讨论并给出建议。接着引出Nora的问题。完成一系列听的任务,再根据此内容展开说的练习,让学生谈论自己的问题,并提出解决建议。最后利用练习来复习巩固本节课知识。 教学目标 通过本课时的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词和短语:chemistry, bookworm, progress, worried, aloud, pronounce, correctly, pronunciation, mention, laugh at, go over, don’t mention it。 2.能力目标 通过听说练习,训练学生听说的技能,逐步掌握听力技巧。 3.情感目标 通过听说练习,让学生了解青少年问题,并学会积极解决问题,培养良好的个人品质,健康成长。 重点难点 重点:听懂关于青少年问题的文章,学会提出建议。 难点:听懂关于青少年问题的文章,学会提出建议。 教学准备 PPT 课件;相关图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in 1. Ask a question “What problem do you have in your life?”. Talk about teenage problems. 2. Ask students to give some advice on the problems. Step 2 Presentation 1. Show students a list of Nora’s problems. Guess what problems she has. 2. Learn the new word“chemistry”. Step 3 Listen and practice 1. Do A1. (1) Ask them to listen and tick the problems Nora has. (2) Check the answers. Answers:

Tell students what predicting is and when we can use this kind of reading skill. To predict is to guess what comes next. It helps us understand what kinds of books or articles we are reading, and where we might find information. When we read an article, we can often predict the content from the title. We can also use the headings in an article to predict the main idea of each part. Headings are the titles of the different parts. Often,they are in bold. 2.
