知识点一 search的用法
教材原文Nowadays, millions of Chinese leave the countryside to search for work in the cities.现在,数以百万计的中国人离开农村去城市里找工作.
本句中的search是不及物动词,意为“寻找,搜寻”. search 还可以作及物动词.
After we had landed, the plane was searched thoroughly.我们降落之后,飞机被彻底搜过了.

how often, how soon, how long 与 how far
1.how often指“多久一次”,主要用来对频率进行提问.答语通常是usually, sometimes等频度副词以及once a week, twice a month等表示频度的短语.
-How often do you visit your mother? 你多长时间看你妈妈一次?
-Once a week.一周一次.
2.how soon指“多久以后”,多用于一般将来时,答语通常为“in+时间段”.
-How soon will he be back?他要多久才回来?
-In an hour.一个小时以后.
3.how long表示“多长时间”,主要对一段时间提问,答语通常用“for+时间段”或“since+时间点”.另外还可以表示某东西有多长.
-How long have you been away from your hometown?你离开家乡多久了?
-For about five years.大约5年了.
-How long is the Yellow River?黄河有多长?
-About 5,464 km.大约5,464千米.
4.how far指两地间的距离,意思是“多远".

现在完成时(3)
本单元的语法重点仍然是现在完成时.在本单元的语法部分,我们总结一下现在完成时的注意事项.
1.如果单纯表示一段时间,或强调一段时间,虽有since从句(一般过去时),主句也可以不用现在完成时.
It is two years since his father died.=His father has been dead for two years.他父亲已去世两年了.
2.非延续性动词在完成时的否定式中已变成一种可以延续的状态,因此可以表示动作的延续性.
I haven't left here since 1997.自从1997年以来,我一直没有离开过这儿.
3.常见的非延续性动词与延续性动词的转换(主要是指将一个非延续性动词转换成一个延续性动词)
