二、学习目标及依据	By the end of this class, Ss will be able to: 1.语言目标： 1) 能掌握以下词汇： out, go out, dish, do the dishes, night, before；dirty, kitchen, more, noisy, relax, read, terrible, feel, strict, be strict with, remember, follow, follow the rules, luck 能掌握以下句型： ① I can’t go out on school nights. ② I can’t see my friends on school days and I have to do my home work after school. ③ I must practice the guitar before dinner and then I have to do the dishes after dinner. ④I have to help my mom make breakfast every morning. 2) 继续使用目标语言谈论对某些规章制度（校规、家规等）的看法。练习使用情态动词can、must及have to来表达校规及家规。能熟练朗读课文；获取相关信息的能力。 2. 情感态度价值观目标：让学生能用英语表达和制定一些简单的规则，理解没有规矩不成方圆；无论是在学校时还是在家庭中以及以后走上社会都应当遵守规则，按规则办事。
三、重难点
重点	学习本课出现的新词汇及表达方式，听懂本节课所出现的新的表达方式进行阅读训练，通过阅读简短的文章学习语言知识，提高综合运用能力。
难点	进一步理解must, have to/ can/can't的用法；

Do you like these rules? 1b. Match the pictures [a-h] with the rules. 1b.Listen and put an × for things Dave can’t do and a √ for things he has to do. 1c. Listen again. Write when Dave has to follow the rules in the chart in 1b. Choose from the phrases. Pair work 1d. Think : Molly talks to Dr.Know when she is unhappy by letters. Can you tell the format of a letter? [While-reading] Skimming, tell the main idea Careful reading ①2b. Read the letters, underline the rules for Molly. ② Details reading T -How does she feel? Ss - She is unhappy/... 原文：There are too many rules! At school, we have more rules Rules, rules, rules! It's terrible! Ss - She feels it's terrible! ③Pair Work If you are Dr. Know, what would you say? Ss - “Molly, I think you can... Maybe you should... ” ④Careful reading Read Dr. Know's letter. Underline his viewpoint. Think - How do you think about his viewpoint? Do you agree? Are all the rules really helpful? Will Molly feel better after reading this? [Post-reading] 2c. People always tell us, “Don’t do this!” or “You can’t do that!” But think about it, Molly. There are a lot of things you can do. You can play basketball on weekends. You can watch TV after you read a book. Parents and schools are sometimes strict, but remember, they make rules to help us. We have to follow them. Good luck!
