Wu An Husehld Waste Treatment
In the 1990s, husehld waste pllutin was a serius prblem in cuntryside acrss China. Wu An, a small city in Hebei prvince, was n exceptin. Wastes were dumped in rivers, ditches, and even n the rad, sending ut hrrible smells.
The ditches were quickly filled up with all kinds f garbages. Strng wind-blws wuld bring the plastic bags up dancing in the sky and the smelly dusts rushing int yur face.
Later, simple garbage pls were built n the rad fr peple t put trash in. Yet quickly the garbage pls were filled up and the trash flwed ut nt the rad. Husehld waste has becme a tugh prblem.
Frm 2015 t 2019, a green campaign called “Trash int Dustbin” was launched t fight against garbage littering.
First, every husehld gt a free blue dustbin t put husehld trash in.

Then the dustbinman came t cllect the husehld trash at a fixed time accrding t the schedule
The dustbinman drve an electricaltricycle with a bigsquare dustbin.
Villagers dumped their husehld trash int the cntainer.
When the tricycle finished its cllecting wrk, it drve t the garbage gathering statin.

A secnd way f trashassembling is putting aa big-size dustbin n therad in the village. When the dustbin is full,
a hk car will hk it away and drive t thenearby gathering statinwhile an empty dustbinis placed instead n the site.
All the peratins are dne autmatically by a machine arm. During the abarding prcess, the dustbin is clsed s that n trash will be leaking ut.

A trash transfer statin is built nearby the village. All the wastes cllected will be stred here temprarily fr special trucks t carry them away.

Wastes are put n the stream lines t be filtered,then separated and sent tdifferent sectins fr futher treatment. After bi-safty dispsal, the nn-recyclable wasteare buried at the fixed site. The recyclable trashwill be further prcessed fr reuse.

The sky, muntains, lakes, frests, grassland, and all the living creatures frm a great system, in which every thing cnnects with ne anther in an visible r invisible way.

2. Hw d yu have a gd understanding f the cnnectins between things in nature?
Take the glbal warming as an example. If the temperature keeeps rising n earth, the icebergs n land wuld melt, which wuld directly damage the habitats f plar bears and penguins. S keeping the balance f temperature is very imprtant.

I find it difficult t keep eye cntact with my audience while I am making a presentatin.
Because I am shy. My face will flush if I stare at smene fr a few secnds.
4. What d yu plan t d if yu find smething difficult?
Generally, I will sleep it ver if I find smething difficult. But if the next day I am still trubled by the same prblem, I will face the music.
Fr example, I plan t practice staring at myself in the mirrr at first. I will try t smile while I lk int my wn eyes. Maybe next time when I make a speech, I will feel easy t keep eye cntact with my audience.
