Step 1 Warming up /Leading in

a . T shows a student’s photo. T: Who is this boy? S s: He is ... T:What does he do? S s:He is a pupil. b. T shows some sentences.Ss read the sentences and guess the person. E g: She is a teacher.She teaches Chinese. Who is this woman? He can swim. He can play the piano.He can do everything with his feet. Who is this man? S s : He is Liu Wei. (设计意图:发展学生的思维能力,通过学生熟悉的人物,再根据句子信息引导学生猜出人物,进一步引出故事主人公刘伟。) | |
Step 2 Presentation
T:Today we are going to learn a story about Liu Wei. Now watch a video about him.
Q1:What did Liu Wei want to be? Q2:What happened to him at the age of nine? Q3:What did he learn when he lost his arms? Q4: What did he do in 2006? Q5:How long did he play the piano in a day? (设计意图:这几个问题比较直观,可以更好地帮助学生体会刘伟的成长经历,理解课文大意。)
T: Look at this photo,this is little Liu Wei. At the age of 6,he was a healthy boy.(将词卡 at the age of 6, healthy 贴在黑板上,作为引入铺垫。) He wants to be a football player.But how about at the age of 9,at the age of 19,in 2006 and now?What happened to him? Now watch a video and put the cards on the right places.(展示词卡) 4.Watch the video of the passage. (观看课文视频,整体感知短文) 5.Group work:4Ss in a group discuss it and put up the word cards on the paper. And then ask Ss to put up the cards on the blackboard. (学生组内讨论贴词条在学生资料上,然后师叫学生把卡片贴在黑板上即板书。) (设计意图:在听音回答问题的基础上,为了帮助学生更深刻地了解刘伟的成长经历,理解课文大意,让学生通过观看课文视频来完成不同的时间的不同经历的贴词任务,学生4人一组讨论并完成任务及板书。) 6.T explains some key words: lost ,learned, had to stop, started... 7.Ss listen and read after the tape.(设计意图:通过模仿录音培养学生良好的语音语调。)
