I will never frget the year 1979. I was just ten years ld when my father decided t take me t see a stunt (特技) shw starring the famus mtrcyclist, Evel Knievel. After seeing the amazing stunts, I started dreaming abut riding bikes and perfrming stunts myself ne day.

The bk is divided int six parts: fd, medicine, tys, accidental things, names and clthes. I find the bk great because if nt fr the bk, I wuld never have knwn that smething was actually accidentally created. Besides, I like t learn real infrmatin; I can't stand bks with stries that aren't real. Althugh this is a nn-fictin bk and is abut inventins, it is nt a histry f technlgy bk; it's mre f an easy reading bk. This bk wuld be attractive t bth bys and girls, and it culd actually be either an adult bk r a children's bk.
Published (出版) in 1991, the bk is a bit ld and is shwing its age nw in 2016. Still, it cntains lts f great infrmatin, even thugh sme facts are nt exact. I lve the idea f a mistakes bk, and I especially like the frmat (安排), which allws readers t dip in and ut f the bk easily. Hwever, the entries are nt all equally strng. Additinally, if yu dn't live in the US, the bk makes little sense, since it is full f American references bth histrically and in terms f custms.
Anyway, Mistakes that Wrked is a reminder that failure is nt always the end. It is an enlightening (富有启发性的) bk that encurages us t realize that taking risks and learning t experiment is ften the best way t learn, even if we dn't end up creating smething new and wnderful.
