新课展示 | 【完成教材2a~2e的教学任务】 1.2a结合情景导入,学生小组讨论方框内问题。 2.2b学生看这篇短文的标题作回答。找出小组内有多少人和自己意见相同,再读文章,看看你的观点是否要改变? 3.2c学生再次阅读文章,回答问题。 4.处理2b重难点,学生朗读。 5.2d学生在文中找出2d加粗体的单词,然后自己模仿造句。 6.2e学生搭档讨论方框内问题,用文中所给信息来支持自己的观点。 【语法提要】 1.get in the way get in the way是固定短语,意为“挡……的道;妨碍”,常与介词of连用。如: He wouldn’t allow emotions to get in the way of him doing his job.他不会让感情妨碍自己的工作。 Playing computer games can get in the way of his study.玩电脑游戏会妨碍他的学习。 拓展:way的常见搭配: all the way一直;lose one’s way迷路;on the (one’s) way (to)在通往……的路上;by the way顺便说一下。如: On his way home ,he found a wallet .So he waited for the owner for a long time.在回家路上,他发现了一个钱包,为等失主他花费了很长时间。 The man lost his way in the big city for the first time.那个先生第一次在大城市迷了路。 By the way, what is your name? 顺便问一下,你叫什么? 2.achieve achieve一般只用作及物动词,其宾语可以是“实现”的目标、目的等,也可以是“取得”的胜利、成功、名誉、地位等。如: Everybody should be given the chance to achieve their aims.每个人都该有实现自己目标的机会。 She achieved no success.她没有获得成功。 该单词也可以用realize来表达相同的意思。如:Everybody should be given the chance to realize their aims.要让每个人都有实现自己目标的机会。 但是,come true 实现,不能接宾语来表达类似的意思,以上相关例子可以表述为: Everybody should be given the chance to make their aims come true.要让每个人都有机会实现自己的目标。 3.care about care about意为“关心”,其后接名词、代词或动名词形式。如: The young should care about the old.年轻人应该关心老人。 care的相关短语: (1)care for意为“照顾;喜欢”。如: The mother cared for the sick child day and night.母亲日夜照顾生病的孩子。 (2)take care意为“小心,当心”。常用结构:take care (not) to do sth.意为“当心(别)做某事”。如:Take care not to make any mistakes.当心别犯错误。 (3)take care of意为“照顾,照料”。如: We’ll take care of you when you are old.当你年老时我们会照顾你。 4. be serious about… be serious about…意为“对……是认真的”,其后接名词、代词或动名词形式。如: Do you think he is serious about leaving the company? 你认为他当真要离开公司吗? She is serious about her future.她认真面对未来。 【问题探究】 1. Not all of the plans can achieve _______(achieve) in the end. 2. B after entering the store did Arthur realize that there was danger. A. If B.
