一、 教学目标
1. 能听懂,会读,会写,会说单词:cinema, hospital, shop, zoo.
2. 能听懂,会读,会写,会说词组:get on, get off, turn left, turn right.
3. 能在创设的具体的真实的环境中问路与指路。
4. 让学生在实际运用的过程中学会归纳问路指路句型:How do I get to the …? Go along …,turn left/right, get on/off the … at….
5. 通过本课学习培养学生乐于合作,遇到困难大胆求证的品质。
二、 教学重难点
1.能听懂,会读,会写,会说单词:cinema, hospital, shop, zoo.
2. 能听懂,会读,会写,会说词组:get on, get off, turn left, turn right.
3. 能在创设的具体的真实的环境中问路与指路。
三、课前准备
1. 准备单词和句型卡片;准备简单的地图。
2. 准备表示方位的小卡片。
3. 准备一些小礼物如糖果,巧克力等。
四、教学过程
Step 1 warming up
Do exercise.
Follow me, follow me, turn left, turn left;
Follow me, follow me, turn right, turn right;
Follow me, follow me, hands up, hands up;
Follow me, follow me, hands down. Hands down;
Follow me, follow me, sit down ,please.
Step2. Free talk
T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m Miss Yang. I’m your new English teacher today .I’m from Guilin.
T: Look! This is my hometown. Do you want to know something about Guilin?
S: Where’s Guilin?
T: It’s about 32 kilometers away. That’s along walk.If you want to get there faster, you can take bus No.36 and get off at Guilin stop. It’s on ... Road..
Step3. Conservations
T: OK, boys and girls. This is the map of our city .Some teachers want to visit our city .Do you want to be the guide? Please work in group, you can use these sentences.
A: Excuse me, can you tell me the way to…?
B: Go along this street, and turn … at the…crossing. The …is on your ….Then take bus NO. …and get off at …
A: Thank you very much..
Step4. Practice
1. 教师展示表示方位的卡片,同学进行表演。如教师展示turn left,则同学向左转。看谁反应最快,做的最好。
2. 教师再黑板上画出横竖两条交叉的大路,将bank 和library 的卡片分别贴再横向大路的右上方和左上方,在纵向大路的下方画一颗星星。
T: I’m new here. I want to go to the bank. Excuse me. How can I get to the bank? 引导学生回答:Go straight. Then turn right. T: Yes. You’re right. The bank is on the right.
3. 教师提供各种情景,并展示地图,由同学进行问路指路练习。如教师假定一位同学生病要去医院,并附带一张去医院的地图,由两位同学进行情景表演,练习问路与指路。
五、作业
1. 听录音,并模仿跟读。
2. 书写单词和句子,熟读课文。
3. 给同学简单地图,请同学自己练习问路与指路。
4. 熟悉简单的交通指示牌。
