W:The danger f nuclear pwer t health, safety, and even life itself can be summed up in ne wrd: radiatin. Nuclear radiatin has a certain mystery abut it, partly because it cannt be detected by human senses. It can't be seen r heard, r tuched r tasted, even thugh it may be all arund us. There are ther things like that. Fr example, radi waves are all arund us but we can't detect them r sense them withut a radi receiver. Similarly, we can't sense radiactivity withut a radiatin detectr. But unlike cmmn radi waves, nuclear radiatin is harmful t human beings and ther living things.
At very high levels, radiatin can kill animals r human beings utright by killing masses f cells in vital rgans. But even the lwest levels can d serius damage. There is n level f radiatin that is cmpletely safe. If the radiatin des nt hit anything imprtant, the damage may nt be significant. This is the case when nly a few cells are hit, and if they are killed utright, yur bdy will replace the dead cells with healthy nes. But if the few cells are nly damaged, and if they reprduce themselves, yu may be in truble. They reprduce themselves in bad ways. They can grw int cancer. Smetimes this des nt shw up fr many years. Radiatin can hurt us. We must knw the truth.

此外,D项中的“The next step”与上一段开头“The first step”相呼应。

The giant panda, als 61.knwn (knw) as the panda bear r simply the panda, is a bear native t Suth Central China. In the past many years, the giant panda 62.has been driven (drive) ut f the lwland areas where it nce lived as a result f farming, defrestatin and ther 63.develpment (develp). Wild ppulatin estimates vary:ne estimate shws that there are abut 1,590 individuals 64.living (live)in the wild, while a 2006 study estimated that this figure culd be as high as 2,000 t 3,000. Sme reprts als shw that 65.the number f giant pandas in the wild is 66.n the rise.

In 1936, Ruth Harkness became the first westerner 68.t bring (bring)a live giant panda named Su Lin t the Brkfield Z in Chicag. T prtect the pandas, in 2012, Earthwatch Institute, a glbal nnprfit institute that teams vlunteers with scientists t cnduct imprtant 69.scientific (science) research, launched a prgram called “On the Trail f Giant Pandas”. This prgram, based in the Wlng Natinal Nature Reserve, allws vlunteers t wrk with pandas cared fr in captivity (圈养), and help them 70.gradually (gradual) adapt t life in the wild.
根据时间状语“In the past many years”可知,此处应用现在完成时;大熊猫从低地区域被赶走,表被动;主语the giant panda为单数,所以空处填has been driven。
    假定英语课上老师要求同桌之间交换修改作文,请你修改你同桌写的以下作文。文中共有10处语言错误,每句中最多有两处。每处错误仅涉及一个单词的增加、删除或修改。
    增加:在缺词处加一个漏字符号(∧),并在其下面写出该加的词。
    删除:把多余的词用斜线(\划掉。
    修改:在错的词下划一横线,并在该词下面写出修改后的词。
    注意:1.每处错误及其修改均仅限一词;
    2.只允许修改10处,多者(从第11处起)不计分。

    文章大意:这是一篇记叙文。主要讲述了作者和同学们在植树节去山上种树的事情。

    73.考查连词。结合上下文语境可知此处为承接关系,应用连词and。故but改为and。
    74.考查非谓语动词。结合句意表示“开始做某事”短语为start ding sth.。故watered改为watering。
    75.考查动词时态。结合语境可知“我没有种过树”发生在“我很兴奋”之前,即“过去的过去”应用过去完成时。故have改为had。
    76.考查代词。结合句意表示“给某人树立了一个好榜样”短语为set sb. a gd example。故myself改为me。
    77.考查动词短语。结合句意表示“向……学习”短语为learn frm...,learn abut表示“了解”不符合语境。故abut改为frm。
    78.考查冠词。结合句意表示“总共”短语为in all,中间没有冠词。故去掉the。
    79.考查名词。hundred前有具体数词tw,修饰名词 trees,不能用复数形式。故hundreds改为hundred。
    80.考查副词。修饰动词短语lk at应用副词happily,作状语。故happy改为happily。
