Fr the last challenge, each f us had t present the inventin we had been wrking n ver the summer. The first place winner wuld win $25, 000, a trip t Csta Rica, and the title f America’s Tp Yung Scientist. At the awards ceremny, all f us waited anxiusly until ne f the judges, Danny Frester, started annuncing “The winner f the Discvery Educatin 3M Yung Scientist Challenge is. . . ”Yu culd hear a pin(大头针)drp as he pened the paper with the winner’s name, “Deepika Kurup!”
