Born during the Ming dynasty, Xu Xiake, as an outstanding geographer, explorer and traveller, spent his whole life traveling and staying in the mountains and rivers, during which he recorded all his feelings and experiences, the local topography and landform, as well as local customs and customs. His travel notes were later compiled as the travel notes of Xu Xiake, a famous book in geography, which left important materials for the study of geography in China.
