英语中,有些表示位置移动的动词,如leave、g、cme、mve等,可用现在进行时表示将要发生的动作。

They are cming (cme) here this afternn.

s am I意为“我也是”。“S+be 动词/助动词/情态动词+主语”构成倒装结构,意为“也一样。”,表示前者所述的某一肯定的情况也使用与后者。

我母亲喜欢音乐,我父亲也喜欢。
My parents can swim. S can I.
我父母会游泳,我也会。
拓展:
“S +主语+be动词/助动词/情态动词”意为“确实如此”,用来表示赞成对方的陈述,前后两个句子的主语是相同的人或物。
e.g.① —Jack wrks hard at schl.

—S she is. 的确如此。

①miss 此处作动词,意为“未出席”。
e.g. Jhn was ill and missed tw days f schl. 约翰生病了,两天没上学。
②miss作动词还可意为“错过;思念”。
e.g. If I dn’t leave nw, I’ll miss the plane.
如果现在不出发,我就赶不上飞机了。
We’ll miss yu when yu leave.
你走后我们会想念你的。
③miss的首字母大写(即Miss)作名词,意为“小姐”。
e.g. Thank yu, Miss Green. 谢谢你,格林小姐。

(1)anybdy 不定代词,意为“任何人”,相当于anyne,常用于否定句或疑问句。anybdy作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。
e.g. We didn’t meet anybdy n the way. 在路上我们没遇到任何人。
Is there anybdy in the rm? 房间里有人吗?
(2)wake sb. up意为“叫醒某人”,代词作宾语时,必须放在wake与up中间;名词作宾语时,放在up前后均可。wake的过去式为:wke,过去分词为:wken。
e.g. Please wake me up n time. 请准时叫醒我。
Please be quiet. Dn’t wake up the baby. 请安静,不要吵醒那个婴儿。
☞wake up也可单独使用,意为“醒来”
e.g. What time d yu usually wake up in the mrning? 通常你早晨几点醒来?

ring此处用作不及物动词,意为“发出铃声”,ring也可作及物动词,意为“使发出铃声”。ring的过去式为:rang,过去分词为:rung。
e.g. The church bells rang. (不及物动词)教堂的钟声响了。
Smene is ringing the drbell. 有人在按门铃。
拓展:
①ring作动词,表示“打电话”。常用短语:ring sb. up,意为“给某人打电话”
e.g. I’ll ring yu up later. 我一会儿给你打电话。
②ring 作名词,意为“指环”。
e.g. She has a gld ring. 她有一枚金戒指。

be abut t d sth.意为“即将要做某事”,通常表示动作马上发生。

☞注意:be abut t d sth.结构不能与tmrrw、next week等明确表示将来的时间状语连用。

a cuple f 意为“两个;少数几个”,修饰可数名词复数。
e.g. A cuple f men gt ut f the building. 两个男人从楼里走了出来。

①manage 作动词,意为“管理;设法完成”,常用短语:manage t d sth.意为“设法做成某事”。
e.g. They managed t finish the task ahead f time. 他们设法提前完成了任务。
②manager 名词,意为“经理”
e.g. He is a stre manager. 他是一位商店经理。

关掉电视!
turn ff意为“关掉(设备)”,如关掉电视(TV)、收音机(radi)、电灯(light)等有按钮的电器。
e.g. Remember t turn ff the TV befre yu g t bed. 记得在你睡觉前关掉电视。

①与turn搭配的词组还有:
turn n 打开 turn up 调高 turn dwn 调低
②区分:
pen意为“打开”,如打开门(dr)、窗户(windw)等需要手动打开的物体。
clse 意为“关闭”
e.g. It’s a bit dark. Please turn n the lights. 有点暗,请打开灯。

be wrried abut 意为“担心”。wrried是形容词,意为“担心的”,abut是介词,后接名词、代词或动词-ing形式。
拓展:
wrry abut 意为“担心”,可与be wrried abut转换。
e.g. Dn’t wrry abut me. = Dn’t be wrried abut me. 不用担心我。

unable 形容词,意为“不能做某事的”,其反义词是able,意为“有能力的”。常用搭配:be unable t d sth. ,意为“不能做某事”。

tidy up 意为“收拾”,可接名词或代词作宾语,当代词作宾语时,需放在tidy与up之间。
