    ( Teaching material analysis)
    In the grammar sectin, students will be guided t review adverbial clauses. Thrugh analyzing typical examples and classifying the adverbial clauses, students are expected t master the usages f the grammar item, and put it int practice in sme real cntext.
    In the vcabulary learning, students will read the timeline presenting the cntributins sme Chinese and freign celebrities made in the exchange f different cultures, and then use the key expressin learned t a passage abut a renwned literary named Qian Zhngshu.
    Besides, the listening and speaking part fcuses upn the cnversatin abut teaching in the Cnfucius Institute abrad. A series f learning activities will enable students t grasp the curse f cultural exchanges between China and freign cuntries frm ancient times t the present.

    1. Guide the students t crrectly understand and use the adverbial clauses in the real cntext.
    2. Lead the students t learn and use sme useful expressins abut cultural exchanges by reading abut Chinese and freign celebrities f different times.
    3. Help the students enhance their listening ability. The students are expected t capture key infrmatin in listening t finish tasks given.
    4. Guide the students t talk abut hw t better prmte cultural exchanges between China and freign cuntries and enhance cnfidence in the develpment and spread f Chinese culture frm different perspectives

    1. Guide the students t crrectly use prper adverbial clauses accrding t the real cntext.
    2. Help the students strengthen the listening ability by understanding the listening material and getting key infrmatin used fr listening tasks.
    3. Guide students t think and share hw t better prmte cultural exchanges between China and freign cuntries .

    Step 1 Review the adverbial clauses
    Activity 1
    1. Review cmmn subrdinating cnjunctins and crrectly use them accrding t the cntext.
    2. Analyze typical examples and classify the adverbial clauses.
    Step 2 Practice Activity 2 & Activity 3
    Activity 2 Cmplete the passage with adverbial clauses given.
    Activity 3 Lk at the picture and describe it using adverbial clauses where apprpriate.
    Step 3 Fcus n vcabulary abut cultural exchange Activity 5 & Activity 6
    Activity 5
    1. Have students read the timeline presenting the cntributins sme Chinese and freign celebrities made in the exchange f different cultures.
    2. Have students make ntes f the key expressins in bld in Activity 5.

    Have students read a passage abut a renwned literary named Qian Zhngshu, and cmplete the passage using prper expressins in Activity 5.

    2. Wrk in pairs. Discuss what yu can d t spread Chinese culture using the useful expressins in this sectin.
