The RHS Hamptn Curt Palace Flwer Shw is the largest annual garden and flwer shw in the wrld.The shwgrund cvers 33 acres and mst visitrs stay fr abut 5 hurs.It takes place in the grunds f Hamptn Curt Palace each July and is rganized by the Ryal Hrticultural Sciety(RHS).

Tickets
Ticket prices start frm £21.50.
Prices vary depending n the time and date f yur visit.
Each full paying adult may bring tw children aged 16 and under free f charge t the shw.

Tips fr Visiting
•Yu culd visit Hamptn Curt Palace n the same day but allw plenty f time as it takes 3-5 hurs t visit the flwer shw and 1-3 hurs t visit the palace.
•This is a temprary utdr event n pen parkland and is subject t varying weather and grund cnditins.A temprary walkway is laid but it can still get pretty muddy if there’s been heavy rain.Open-ted shes and high heels are nt usually apprpriate ftwear.

Mr Fergusn earned a bachelr’s degree in 1961 at Hly Crss University,where he develped an interest in painting.He served in the Army fr tw years until being discharged in 1963,and after studying briefly at the Bstn Museum Schl,registered at the Chicag Art Institute,where he studied until 1966,when he entered the University f Illinis at Chicag,where he btained a bachelr’s degree in 1966 in fine arts.Mr Fergusn develped his interest and skills as a sculptr after mving t Baltimre t d further studies at the Maryland Institute Cllege f Art’s Rinehart Schl f Sculpture,frm which he graduated in 1971 with a master’s degree in fine arts.
“Over the years my wrk has mved gradually in the directin f elegance and simplicity,” Mr Fergusn wrte in his artist statement.“Heavy,bulbus frms have been replaced by dancing,winglike frms.The welding prcess and respect fr the qualities f the materials are interrelated and affect the final piece.Mst f the sculptures that are pictured in my wrks are made frm steel,silicn brnze,and t Cr-Ten steel;shaped t create these beautiful and unique pieces f art.As yu can see,my sculptures range in size anywhere frm 12 inches t 30 feet r larger.”
Thrugh the years,his wrk fund its way int such majr public and private cllectins.“They encurage ptimism,fr they shw strength and affirmatin;there’s nthing negative,depressing r anxiety-ridden abut them”,wrte the late art critic Jhn Drsey in a 1997 exhibitin review.
