A recent annuncement in China limits teenagers t playing vide games fr up t ne hur a day n weekends and hlidays. T make sure the restrictin (规定) is fllwed, vide platfrms will need real-name recgnitin and facial recgnitin.
As is reprted, these measures have been welcmed by Chinese parents. The restrictins are aimed at the gaming cmpanies, which have prfited greatly at the cst f yung peple’s health and grwth.
A reprt cmpared vide games t “spiritual pium” (精神鸦片) fr China’s yuth. They are influencing teenagers’ behavir in daily life, especially thse wh have nt develped the prper time management skills. The way f restrictins may nt be perfect, but it can send the right message t teenagers, as well as gaming cmpanies wh are using technlgy t drag users deeper and deeper int using their prducts.
The gamming cmpanies shuld cnsider develping mre learning games r serius games, instead f games that serve n particular purpse ther than making mney. There is much we can learn frm the gaming wrld. Learning can be a game in a way t guide students tward success if we design educatin prgrams t lead students thrugh levels, frm easy t challenging. Students shuld be prvided pprtunities t fail in a safe envirnment and gain valuable experience fr grwth. And when they have mastered a skill, they can celebrate it t feel a deep sense f satisfactin.
Wrking in an educatin rganizatin, I have nticed teachers wh successfully use gaming in their curses. And I have als seen gamming cmpanies wrking hard t prduce valuable educatinal gaming tls r platfrms. These tls help schls and teachers encurage students t achieve varius learning gals.
Educatin in many parts f the wrld is filled with ills, including the lack f purpse and efficiency. Perhaps gaming can teach us smething.

D. New technlgy is needed t help develp serius games.
15. What is the authr’s aim in writing the text?
A. T call n teenagers t give up playing nline games.
