As part f yur science lessns, yu will take part in many activities using many different materials, equipment and chemicals, which can be dangerus if nt used crrectly. As a result, yu may be faced with bilgical, chemical r physical hazards,
    Safety is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing. The fllwing safety rules have been develped fr the prtectin and safety f everyne.
    ★Behave yurself in a respnsible way at all times. Risky behavir such as thrwing things and ding experiments withut teachers' instructins is nt allwed.
    ★Eating, drinking, chewing gum,wearing make­up, tuching cntact lenses (隐形眼镜) r ther unsafe activities are nt allwed.
    ★D nt enter r wrk in the labratry unless an instructr is present.
    ★Never enter areas where chemicals are kept.
    ★Taking any chemicals r equipment away frm the classrm r labratry is nt allwed.
    The safety rules must be fllwed at all times. Review these rules with yur teacher and parents, then sign and get the signature (签名) f a parent. The signature shws that yu understand the lab can be dangerus, and that yu have read the rules and agree t fllw them at all times. Signatures are needed befre yu can g n with any lab r science classrm activity.

    Listening t the radi is smething that I really like t d. Whether it's t listen t my favrite sngs, catch up n the latest news r just listen t smething t help me relax, the radi is always there fr me!
    I'm surprised when talking t my students in schl, t find ut that many f them hardly ever listen t the radi because they think it's bring. I always listen t the radi when I'm driving my car r ding my hmewrk. The radi can als be very useful fr me as it ften has traffic updates which tell me whether the rad I want t use has a traffic jam n it.
    There is a sng by The Buggles called “Vide Killed the Radi Star” which I used t listen t a lt and nw it makes mre sense t me. Have TV and the Internet taken the place f the radi fr many peple?
    Nw that I am living in Germany I recently managed t get hld f an ld radi fr free and s nw I like t listen t it when I'm getting ready in the mrning and when I'm making my tea. Of curse it can be annying (讨厌的) when a sng that I dn't like cmes n the radi but mst f time I like the music that is played and it is als a gd way fr me t hear new sngs. Listening t my new radi in German is gd fr my language learning because I can listen t the news, and als hear new German sngs.
    I've always listened t the radi since I was yung and thught that it is a very ppular way t listen t music and news, but after talking with my students I have fund that might nt be the case anymre. Whatever peple think, yu will still always find me dancing arund my rm listening t the radi !
