Teaching Prcedures:
Step 1 Cnslidate new wrds
Lk and say. The teachers shws the pictures f new wrds and let the students t say what they are.
Step 2 Leading-in
Students lk at the pictures and answer the questins. Say as sn as pssible.
Step 3 Listening
1. Listen Part 1 and check the types f news yu hear.
2. Listen again and cmplete the sentences.
3. Listen t Part 3 and answer the fllwing questins.
1) What shuld we avid ding in the backgrund?
2) D they cllect the latest natinal and internatinal news in the newsrm?
Step 4 Reading
1. Nw cmplete the ntes.
2. Find ut the bject clauses in the dialgue.
Step 5 Everyday English
Let students say the Everyday English that they have learnt in the passage.

directr “导演，主管，经理”，是名词，动词为direct。
2. When it’s n, it means we’re n air.
n air, “（广播或电视）播出，正在广播”。
e.g. We will be n air in abut five minutes. 我们将在大约五分钟后开始广播。
3. Thank yu fr shwing us arund.
shw “引领，带领”。
shw sb. arund, “带某人参观，给某人做向导”。
e.g. Shall I shw yu arund the factry? 我带你去参观工厂, 好吗?
4. And we shuld avid making any nise in the backgrund!
avid“避免，防止”。
avid + ding sth. “避免做某事”。
e.g. Please try t avid making the same mistake next time.
下次请尽量避免犯同样的错误。

keep ding sth. 表示“坚持做某事”。
e.g. Keep climbing until yu get t the tp f the muntain.

interview “采访，访谈” 是可数名词。

give an interview t… “接受……的采访”。
e.g. I want t d interviews with the headmaster at schl next mnth.

请同学们观察下面宾语从句的时态特点。

从上面的句子中我们不难发现，宾语从句的时态和主句的时态是息息相关的。
当主句是现在时态时，从句可以根据实际情况选择不同时态。
当主句是过去时态时，从句一般使用相应的过去时态。
