设计说明 本单元学习广播电台的相关对话。教学时先让学生欣赏电台的一段视频,引入话题。接着对该话题展开讨论,过渡到活动1,从而进入教材的学习。然后由听力入手,进入活动2、活动3的学习。通过听对话、读对话、找短语等活动,使学生理解对话内容。由找对话中的宾语从句引入对语法的简单学习。最后,根据活动3的内容,利用活动7的答案要求学生编对话。通过活动5帮助学生总结出the的读音规律。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 (1)学会本单元新单词及短语:director, show, around, show sb. around, on air, avoid, background, national, international, presenter, interview。 (2)学会正确使用宾语从句的时态。 2.能力目标 (1)能听懂关于介绍广播电台的语言材料;能提出其中的细节信息并进行推断。 (2)能运用所学知识谈论收听广播的情况。 (3)能编写关于广播节目的对话。 3.情感目标 通过听广播了解时事,养成关心国家、国际大事的好习惯,增强民族自信心和自豪感。 重点难点 重点:宾语从句的时态 难点:谈论收听广播的情况并编写对话 教学准备 PPT课件,活动1,2,3的录音 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1. Organize the class to enjoy a video of a radio station. 2. Have a conversation about the radio and radio programmes with the class like this: T: Do you often listen to the radio? Ss:… T: Do you like listening to the radio? Ss: … T: What programmes do you like listening to? Ss:… T: Do you like listening to music/news/sports programmes? Ss:… T: What other programmes do you like listening to? Ss:… T: Do you want to be a presenter when you grow up? Ss:… Step 2 Listening 1. Get the class to read the words in Activity 1 on page 80. Make sure they can understand them. 2. Play the tape. Get the class to listen and check (√ ) the types of news they hear. And check them. The answers are: government √ sports √ 3. Get the students to read the sentences in Activity 2. Make sure they can understand them. 4. Play the tape again. Get the class to listen and complete the sentences. Then check them. The answers are: 1 the latest news from China and around the world 2 three days 3 China, England Step 3 Listening and choosing 1. Get the students to listen to the conversation in Activity 3 to choose the best answer. 1) We need to keep quiet if the _____ light is on. Get the students to read the conversation in Activity 3 in groups and complete the notes in it. Then check the answers one by one. Thank you for showing us around.感谢您带我们参观。 (1) thank you for doing sth. 意为“因……感谢你”,相当于 thanks for doing sth.。 Thank you for helping me. = Thanks for helping me. 谢谢你帮助我。 (2)show sb. around 意为“带某人参观,给某人做向导”,可以单独使用,around后面也可跟地点名词。同义短语为take sb. around。 Let me show you around our company.让我带你们参观一下我们公司吧。 2. And we should avoid making any noise in the background! 在背景中我们应该避免制造任何噪音! avoid doing sth. 意为“避免做某事”,动词-ing形式作宾语。注意avoid后面不能跟动词不定式。 Please try to avoid making the same mistake next time. 下次请尽量避免犯同样的错误。 [联想] finish doing sth.做完某事 practise doing sth.练习做某事 enjoy doing sth.喜欢做某事 3.
