教材分析
本单元围绕动物和动物保护这一话题展开教学。课本先从Danny和Jenny的对话开始 让学生了解养宠物的情况,接着详细介绍了令人吃惊的动物、动物园的情况、拯救动物和动物之间的友谊。本课为第三单元第五课,主题是保护动物,这是《义务教育课程标准2011年版》的主要话题之一。教材围绕谈论有关保护老虎的情况,引出了本课的教学重点vlunteer, imprtant, danger, disappear, wild等与保护动物有关的词汇,以及常用于介绍保护动物的句式如:Fr this reasn, tigers are imprtant t the envirnment.教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,又是现代社会急需解决的问题。本课对整个单元起到了升华的作用。授课中可用到一些实际而又形象的视频辅助教学。
【知识与能力目标】
通过本课的学习,约85%的学生能够熟悉单词和短语vlunteer, imprtant, danger,
disappear, wild, at the beginning f, drp t, fd chain, in danger;
(2) 约80%的学生讲能够使用简单的英语句子介绍如何保护动物并做简单的报告。
【过程与方法目标】
课上让学生通过小组合作的形式相互交流,在此基础上,教师通过幻灯片、图片向学生展示一些不同的动物保护行动,90%的学生可以做简单介绍。
【情感态度价值观目标】
通过活动提高学生学习英语的兴趣,并借此话题激发学生保护动物的意识从此付诸行动。

Step 2. Lead in.(引入)
1.Greet the students in English and make sure they can respnse crrectly.

N. 2 Text:Give them sme time t read the text themselves. Then let them act ut the dialgue in grups. Crrect their prnunciatin when necessary.
At last, the teacher explains the text in Chinese, make sure the Ss can understand the meaning f text.
