□My favurite bk is The Old Man and the Sea. It was written in 1952 by the American writer Ernest Hemingway. □ The bk became ppular very quickly. In 1953, it wn the Pulitzer Prize.□The main character is a fisherman wh hasn’t caught anything fr mnths. One day he catches a huge fish, but he has t fight fr days t kill it. He finally succeeds, but he can’t pull the fish nt his bat. When the fisherman is n his way back, sharks eat the fish, leaving nthing but bnes.
□This bk has taught me nt t give up r dubt myself. I’m inspired by hw hard the fisherman fights, even thugh he lses the fish in the end. As Hemingway said, “Man is nt made fr defeat. It als shws hw kindness is imprtant and the terrible effects f revenge. I think everyne shuld read this classic.

Many peple think it is a classic children’s stry abut hpe and friendship.The main characters are Mary Lennx, a lnely girl, her cusin Clin, and their friend Dickn. The stry is abut Mary, wh mves t her uncle’s big huse. She finds a lcked garden and wrks with her friends t make it beautiful again. They als help Clin becme healthy and happy. The main events are: Mary finds the garden, makes new friends, and tgether they bring life back t the garden and themselves.
