t+adj.+(fr sb.) +t d sth. 太……(某人)不能……该结构为肯定形式表达否定含义。

(1)t... t...与s... that...的转换。
当that引导的从句为否定句，且主从句的主语一致时，两个结构可以互相转换。

enugh修饰的形容词或副词应是t后形容词或副词的反义词。
(2)t... t...与nt... enugh t...的转换。
The prblem is t difficult fr me t wrk ut. = The prblem isn’t easy enugh fr me t wrk ut. 这道题对我来说太难了，我做不出来。
(3)在t... t...结构中，如果t前面有nt、never等词，此结构表示肯定意义。

强调从句动作发生时，主句动作的结果状态。
by the time到……的时候
强调在从句动作完成时，主句动作已经完成。
(1)主句一般过去时+从句一般过去时
By the time she wke up, her phne was dead.她醒来时，手机已没电。
(2)主句一般过去时+从句过去完成时(had+动词的过去分词)
By the time he came, I had cked dinner.他来的时候，我已经做好晚饭了。
He was unlucky t lse the match. 他很不幸地输掉了比赛。In sme western cuntries, peple think 13 is an unlucky number. 在一些西方国家，人们认为13是个不吉利的数字。
unlucky adj. 不幸的；不顺利的；不吉利的
由“否定前缀un-+lucky(adj.幸运的)”构成。发音以元音音素开头，其前的不定冠词应用an。
