      What is happening in the picture?Wuld yu feel lucky r unlucky in this bad weather?
      There is a rainstrm.
      I think I’d feel a mix f unlucky and lucky at the same time. It’s unlucky t get stuck in a sudden rainstrm while waiting fr the bus, but it’s als lucky that there’s a bus stp shelter t keep me dry, and I’m nt alne in this.
      Last Friday started terribly. First, my alarm clck didn’t g ff, s I wke up late and had t rush t the bus stp. When I finally reached my classrm, ut f breath, my teacher was already waiting at the dr. Many thers were als late because f the rainstrm. As a result, she said we weren’t having a test after all! What luck n my unlucky day!
      A Heavy Rainstrm
      I had a test that mrning, s I was reviewing my ntes while I was waiting fr my bus. All f a sudden, thunder rlled acrss the sky. Then it started t pur. The wind was t strng fr me t use my umbrella!
      By the time the bus came, I was cld and wet. I was still wrrying abut the test when the bus driver said that we wuld be late. There was a landslide alng ur usual rad.
      Think f a title fr Ma Li’s day.

I planned t g hiking with my best friend, s I packed early and left hme at 7 the stry: While I was waiting fr the bus, the sky turned dark all f a sudden. The wind began t blw hard, and big raindrps started hitting my face. Then the typhn warning went ff. I was s scared that I ran t a subway statin nearby as fast as I culd.By the time I gt there, the rain was puring dwn, and the wind was blwing the trees. I culd hear lud thunder and see lightning. I felt cld, helpless, lnely and upset, because I ur hiking plan was ruined.Ending: When I called my friend t tell her I culdn’t cme, she tld me she was stuck at hme t. Then she suggested we make a vide call and bake ckies tgether instead. As a result, we spent the whle afternn laughing, talking and sharing ur favrite snacks nline. Even thugh we culdn’t g hiking, we still had a great time. What a warm surprise n my “ruined” day!
