      Step 1. Lead-in
      Shw students a vide abut jbs. Ask students t say different jbs with the questin: What jbs can yu see?
      Step 2. Pre-listening
      1. Lk at the picture and answer:
      Q1. What can yu see in the picture?
      Q2.What d yu think they are ding?
      2. Read “Did yu knw” and learn sme expressins.
      Ask: When is the Internatinal Wrkers’ Day?
      What d yu usually d n this day?
      3. Intrduce the title f this class and shw the learning aims.
      Step 3. While-listening
      Aim 1 (A1, P9)
      1. Teacher: T celebrate Internatinal Wrkers’ Day, there will be a special shw n the radi. Nw let’s listen t the preview.
      2. Ask students t read thrugh sentences a, b, c and find/underline the key infrmatin.
      3. Play the audi and get the answers fr a, b, c.
      Aim 2 (A2, P10)
      1. Ask students t lk at the picture, read thrugh the wrds and answer:
      Q1. What is the shw called?
      Q2. When will it be shwn?
      Q3. Wh will be invited?
      Q4. What will be talked abut?
      2. Play the audi. Students listen twice and get the answers.
      3. Guide students t read thrugh “Learning t Learn”.
      Ask: The hst asks 3 questins. What are they?
      Des the hst want answers frm us? Why r why nt?
      4. Understand what a rhetrical questin is.

      Aim 3 (A3, P11)
      1. Listen t the interview with Yan Jing and cmplete the diagram.
      Read thrugh the diagram first and predict what they are talking abut.
      2. Play the audi twice and cmplete A3.
      3. Play the audi again. Ask students t take ntes f the hst’s questins.
      4. Shw the questins:
      ① Yan Jing, why did yu d this?
      ② Did yu try sme interesting r unusual jbs?
      ③ What did yu learn after trying s many jbs?
      Ask students: Which f the abve are pen questins? What are fllw-up questins?
      5. Get mre infrmatin frm “Learning t Learn”.
      Step 4. Pst-listening (A4)
      Wrk in pairs: Interview and act ut.
      1. Ask students t wrk in pairs, chse a rle and make a dialgue.
      2. Check the rle-play.
      3. Ask: What have yu learnt abut finding yur dream jb?
      Step 5. Summary:
      Summarize what we have learnt in this class.
      Hmewrk:

      1. Remember the key wrds and phrases in this class.
      2. Finish exercises after class.
