Step 1: Warm-up (Getting the Students Ready fr Class)
T: Hell, bys and girls. Nice t see yu again!
S: Gd mrning, teacher!
T: Hw are yu tday? Befre we start ur new lessn, let’s chant tgether.
Step 2: Lead-in
T: What did yu see in the vide? (Teacher plays a shrt animatin vide featuring animals helping each ther in the frest, such as a rabbit helping a bird pick up a fallen branch.) What did the little rabbit d? And what did the little bird say?
Activity : Watching the Animatin t Intrduce the Tpic
• Teacher plays the animatin vide.
• After the vide, teacher asks: "Wh can tell me what yu saw? What did the little rabbit d fr the bird? And what did the bird say t the rabbit?"
• Guide students t bserve and discuss the vide cntent, intrducing the unit theme f "Pliteness Expressins" naturally and exciting their interest in learning.
Activity : Observing Pictures t Predict the Stry
• Teacher presents scenari pictures frm the textbk.
• Asks: "Wh can yu see in the picture? What happened? What will they say?"
• Encurages students t guess the stryline based n the pictures.
Activity : Watching the Vide t Learn Vcabulary
• Teacher plays a vide intrducing key vcabulary.
• Asks: "Wh is this by? Yes, he is Jhn. What des Jhn say?"
• Guides students t learn and repeat the vcabulary wrds.
Activity: Reading the Text t Familiarize with the Language
• Teacher plays the audi f the textbk passage.
• Says: "Nw, let’s fllw and read alng."
•Guides students t read after the audi, familiarizing them with the language.
Activity : Game t Practice Language (Pliteness Phrase Relay)
• Teacher divides students int grups f six.
• Says: "Bys and girls, d yu want t play a new game? Let’s play a chain game using the pliteness phrases we've learned."
• Explains the rules and starts the game, encuraging students t use the phrases in a relay frmat.
Activity 6: Rle-Playing t Apply the Language
• Teacher says: "Let’s wrk in pairs. Please chse ne character and d the rle-play with yur partner."
• Guides students t act ut the textbk scenaris, using the apprpriate language.
Activity: Creating Situatins t Use the Language Creatively
• Teacher asks: "When shuld we say 'thank yu' and 'I’m srry'? Please talk abut it with yur deskmate, and then act it ut."
• Encurages students t think f real-life situatins and create their wn dialgues.
T says: "Let's listen and chant tgether. And please pay attentin t the prnunciatin and intnatin."
Summary
T: In tday’s class, we have learnt hw t express urselves plitely. When smene helps yu, yu shuld say "Thank yu." And when yu d smething wrng, yu shuld say "I’m srry." Remember t use these plite phrases in yur daily life.
