      1. Be able t understand the stry based n what they have learned, read the stry alud fluently, and d rle-playing.
      2. Be able t use the sentence patterns "Thank yu, Yu're welcme, Excuse me, I'm srry, It's OK" t carry n a fluent cnversatin, and accurately grasp the timing and effect f the use f each sentence pattern in different life situatins.
      3. T be able t create stries thrugh grup wrk.
      Develp the gd character and behavir f respecting thers and cmmunicating in a civilized and friendly way.

      Step 1 Warm-up
      Teacher (Shw pictures f plite actins: sharing tys, helping smene pick up bks)
      "Lk at these pictures, class! What d yu see?"
      Student A: "A girl shares crayns!"
      Teacher: "Yes! What plite wrds can we say here?"
      Student B: "Thank yu!"
      Teacher: "Great! And the ther persn says…?"
      Students: "Yu’re welcme!"
      Step 2 Lead-in
      Teacher: (Shw textbk P8-9 stry picture)
      "Lk at Amy and Tm. What happened? Guess!"
      Student : "Amy wants the bk?"
      Teacher:"Maybe! What will Amy say? Let’s read and find ut!"
      Step 3 New Text
      Activity 1: First Reading
      Teacher: "Read the stry quietly. Find the plite wrds!"
      (Students read silently)
      Teacher: "What plite wrds did yu find?"
      Student:"Excuse me! Thank yu!"
      Activity 2: Listen and Repeat
      (Play stry audi; students repeat with emtin)
      Teacher:"Amy says, ‘Excuse me.’ Why?"
      Student : "She wants Tm t mve."
      Teacher: "Yes! When we need help, we say Excuse me. Let’s practice!"
      Step 4 Practice
      Activity 1: Rle Play
      Teacher: "Grup 1: Amy and Tm. Grup 2: Add a librarian! Use‘Thank yu’and‘Yu’re welcme’*."
      (Students act ut the stry. Example dialgue:)
      Amy (Student): "Excuse me, can I take this bk?"
      Tm (Student): "Sure! Here yu are."
      Amy:"Thank yu!"
      Tm:"Yu’re welcme!"
      Activity 2: Create Yur Own Stry**
      Teacher: "Imagine yu’re at the park. Yu bump int smene. What d yu say?"
      Student : "I’m srry!"
      Student G: "It’s OK!"
      Teacher:"Excellent! Nw make a shrt play with yur grup!"
      Step 5 Summary
      Teacher: "Why is pliteness imprtant?"
      Student : "It makes friends happy!"
      Teacher: "Yes! Let’s all be plite superheres!



      Hmewrk:
      Read the stry 3 times and draw a picture f yu saying Thank yu t smene.
