Teacher: "Hell, everyne! Welcme t the new semester. Are yu ready fr new challenges? Let's embark n this jurney tgether with the wise snake."
Play the vide "The Year f Snake" t set the theme and excite the students.
Activity 1: Music and Hmewrk Check
Hell Sng, students can stand up and dance and sing sngs.
Sing the "Hell Sng" t greet each ther and create a warm atmsphere.
Check Winter Vacatin Hmewrk:
Briefly review and cllect hmewrk t ensure students are prepared fr the new semester.
Tree Sng:
Sing the "Tree Sng" t intrduce r reinfrce the cncept f grwth and learning, relating it t the new semester.
Activity 2: Firewrks f Wrds and Sentences
Firecrackers fr Wrds:
Teacher: "Let's celebrate the new semester with sme firecrackers! But instead f real nes, we'll use wrd flashcards."
• Shw flashcards with wrds: bttle, pen, mum, listen, teacher. Students read alud each wrd as if they are lighting a firecracker.
Firewrks fr Sentences:
Teacher: "Nw, it's time fr firewrks! Each sentence is like a beautiful firewrk in the sky."
• Display sentence strips and read them alud: Hi, I’m Sarah. I read. Shw me yur pencil. This is my bk. He’s my dad. Wh’s he?
• Encurage students t participate by reading the sentences tgether r individually.
Activity 3: Textbk Overview
Teacher: "Hw many units d we have in ur textbk this semester?"
Students respnd: "Five."
Teacher: "What are the tpics f each unit?"
• List the tpics: Fd, Plite language, Animals, Abilities, Persnal hygiene.
• Discuss briefly what each tpic entails.
