      Objectives:
      By the end f this lessn, hpefully pupils will be able t:
      Understand and pint ut the right schl things they hear frm the tape;
      Fllw the teacher’s instructins and get r shw the right schl things in the TPR activities
      Say the schl things in the teacher’s sequence frm memry.
      Language fcus: Vcabulary: “pencil, bag, bk, ruler, pencil-case, rubber”
      Prcedures:
      Activity 1:
      Play a guessing game.
      Bring int classrm a paper Andy, and his new schl bag.
      Andy asks the children t guess “What d I have in my bag? I have …” (The children can guess in Chinese.)
      Then Andy intrduces his new schl things ne by ne very prudly, e.g. “I have a ruler, a new ruler!”
      Activity 2:
      Pint at the schl things. ( D the “ Listen and pint “ activity in the Activity Bk One, Page 5, Exercise 1, Unit 2. )
      In this activity, the children are asked t pint at the schl things they hear frm the tape.
      Check the answers.
      Activity 3:
      Shw yur schl things! (D the “Let’s mve “sectin n Page 12. )
      The children listen t the teacher’s instructins and shw the schl things they hear as quickly as pssible.
      Award pints t thse wh respnd the mst quickly.
      Activity 4:
      Play a “Listen and get “game.
      Get equal numbers f pupils frm the fur teams t the frnt f the classrm.
      Play with them a cmpetitive game in which they listen and get the schl things the teacher says frm a desk in sme distance as quickly as pssible.
      Activity 5:
      Play a memry game.
      Put the picture f a pencil, a bag and a bk n the blackbard and number them 1, 2, 3.
      Say the numbers and get the children t say the crrespnding items.
      After the children get familiar with saying these items, add pictures f a ruler, a pencil-case and rubber and number them 4, 5, and 6.
      Say the numbers and lead the children t say the crrespnding items until the children get familiar with saying the 6 items.
      Randmly remve the pictures n the blackbard ne at a time frm the sequence and ask the children t say the items including the missing picture.
