Teaching Cntent
What: The theme is "Draw a grup f flats". The cntent centers arund prject - based learning thrugh grup cperatin. Activity 3a requires students t draw a crss - sectin f an apartment and name it, fllwing the example diagram in Activity 3c. Activity 3b asks students t depict the activities f different peple in the apartment t enrich the details f the drawing. Activity 3c is the wrk - sharing sessin, where students mainly shwcase and share their drawn apartment diagrams and describe what peple in each husehld f the apartment building are ding, enabling students t apply the cre grammar structure f this unit “the present cntinuus tense” in a real life cntext.
Why: The significance lies in enhancing students' cmprehensive language using abilities thrugh practical activities. The intentin is t let students use the present cntinuus tense t describe peple's activities in the prject. The affective attitude is t encurage students t give full play t their imaginatin and creativity, and express their ideas using clrs and lines. The value rientatin is t cultivate students' teamwrk spirit and innvative thinking, and als t prmpt students t develp the habit f bserving life, making them lve life mre and experience the beauty and happiness in rdinary life.
Hw: The text type is an activity instructin. In terms f cntent structure, it takes prject tasks as the clue t gradually advance the activities. The theme f "apartment life" is intrduced thrugh vides and pictures t activate students' life experiences. Then, analyze the textbk examples t clarify the task bjectives and language framewrk. Finally, students cmplete the apartment design thrugh grup cperatin and present it.
