      One day, the duckling met a cat and a hen. “May I stay with yu?” he asked hpefully. But the tw animals said n. They did nt like him because he culd nt purr r lay eggs!Sme days later, the ugly duckling came t a lake. There, he saw three beautiful swans with lng necks and white feathers. “I wish I lked like yu!” he cried. “My friend, yu d lk like us! Lk in the water!” ne f the swans said. The duckling lked dwn, and t his surprise, he saw that he was a beautiful white swan t!
