Wednesday, 22 JulyTday was an amazing day. There was a ttal slar eclipse in Wuhan! I wke up early because I culdn't wait t see it!
My friends and I went dwn t the Yangtze River t find a gd place t watch it. We tk cameras, chairs, fd and drink, and special glasses s we culd lk at it. Lts f peple gathered there t watch t. Slwly, the mn mved in frnt f the sun. It lked like smene bit a hle in the sun! It gt darker and darker as the mn slwly cvered the sun.
At 9:26 a.m. the mn cmpletely cvered the sun. The sky went dark. The crwd gasped and cheered. The light f the sun made a ring f light arund the mn. I tk this phtgraph then. The ttal eclipse lasted fr ver five minutes! Then it passed and the sky started t get brighter again.I was really inspired by the eclipse this mrning. In the afternn, I spent hurs reading abut astrnmers, eclipses, and hw the planets mve in ur slar system. The universe is simply amazing! I als watched sme vides with famus Chinese astrnauts. I want t becme an astrnaut r astrnmer smeday t. The sky is the limit!
