      Step 1 Greeting and Lead - in (5 minutes)
      Greet students warmly: "Hell, bys and girls! Hw are yu tday? What did yu d at hme last weekend?" Have a simple daily cnversatin with students t create a relaxed classrm atmsphere.
      Shw sme pictures f peple ding husewrk and family activities. Guide students t bserve and ask: "What can yu see in the pictures? D yu d these things at hme? What chres d yu usually d?" Encurage students t speak actively and share the husewrk they d at hme, leading t the theme f this lessn "Hme Sweet Hme".
      Step 2 Presentatin (8 minutes)
      Use PPT t display the pictures f husewrk activities in 1a. Present phrases like "pack up things", "sweep the flr", "clean the bathrm" ne by ne. Lead students t read and explain their meanings. Use actins, picture cmparisns and ther methds t help students understand and remember.
      Teach new wrds, such as "hang up" and "srt". Shw relevant actin r item pictures, and cmbine with examples like "This is hw we hang up clthes." and "We need t srt these things." t help students understand the usage f the wrds.
      Present the key sentence patterns "Can/Culd yu " and "Culd ". The teacher demnstrates the prnunciatin, explains the sentence structure and usage, and guides students t understand the meanings f the sentences and the different tnes when making plite requests and asking fr permissin. Cmpare examples like "Can yu please clse the windw?" and "Culd yu please clse the windw?" t let students feel the tne differences.
      Step 3 Listening Practice (10 minutes)
      Ask students t lk at the activities in 1a. The teacher says, "Nw, let's listen t sme cnversatins. Please tick the things that Jim's dad asks him t d." Play the recrding f 1b. After students cmplete the task, check the answers.
      Play the recrding f 1b again. Ask students t cmplete the summary blanks in 1b. After the recrding ends, invite students t share their answers, and explain and check the answers t help students understand the listening cntent. Explain key infrmatin and paraphrases that appear in the listening.
      Step 4 Pair Wrk (7 minutes)
      The teacher sets an example: "Let's talk abut the chres. Can yu please sweep the flr? Sure. I'll d it right away."
      Ask students t wrk in pairs. Imitate the example and talk abut husewrk using the key sentence patterns. The teacher walks arund the grups, bserves students' cnversatin situatins, and gives guidance and help in time, such as crrecting prnunciatin and grammar mistakes, and guiding students t expand the cnversatin cntent.
      Invite several grups f students t shw their dialgues. Praise the excellent grups and crrect and encurage the grups with prblems. Evaluate frm aspects such as prnunciatin, intnatin, sentence - pattern usage, and cmmunicatin fluency.
      Step 5 Prnunciatin (5 minutes)
      Play the prnunciatin practice audi. Display the phnetic symbl classificatin, such as /æ/ (pack, sweep, etc.) and /uː/ (rm, spn, etc.). Let students fllw and imitate, paying attentin t the muth shape and tngue psitin f prnunciatin.
      Play the audi again. Students fllw the reading. The teacher emphasizes the rhythm and intnatin f the sentences. Invite individual students t imitate the reading and give crrectins and guidance, such as pinting ut prnunciatin skills like liaisn and stress.
      Step 6 Listening and Speaking (10 minutes)
      Play the dialgue recrding f 2a. Ask students t listen and think abut the questins: "What des Peter's mum ask him t d? What des Peter chse t d?" After the recrding ends, invite students t answer the questins.
      Play the recrding again. Students fllw the dialgue t imitate the prnunciatin and intnatin. Then ask students t wrk in pairs, read the dialgue in rles, paying attentin t the prnunciatin, intnatin and emtinal expressin, such as shwing different tnes when making requests and respnses.
      Invite several grups f students t shw their perfrmances. Other students listen carefully and evaluate. The teacher makes a final summary and feedback, evaluating frm aspects such as the integrity f the dialgue, the accuracy f prnunciatin and intnatin, and the richness f emtinal expressin.

      Recite the key wrds and phrases learned in this class. Ask parents t sign t cnfirm, and there will be a wrd quiz the next day.
      Write a shrt passage f at least 50 wrds abut the husewrk yu d at hme using the key sentence patterns learned.
      Preview the cntent f 3a - 3d in Sectin A, and try t understand the general idea f the passage.
