Ask students if they like fairy tales and which nes they knw.
Share sme famus fairy tales with the students, such as Snw White,
Cinderella, and Little Red Riding Hd.
2. Play a shrt vide clip f The Ugly Duckling t aruse students' interest.
(二)Presentatin (10 minutes)
1. Shw the pictures in 1a and ask students t number them accrding t their
predictins f the stry.
Encurage students t express their reasns fr the numbering.
Have a brief discussin with students abut their predictins.
2. Present the stry adapted frm The Ugly Duckling and ask students t read it
silently.
While students are reading, walk arund the classrm t ffer help if
needed.
(三)Practice (15 minutes)
1. Ask students t wrk in pairs and discuss the questin in 1b: Is the ugly
duckling a real duck?
Invite several pairs t share their pinins and have a class discussin.
2. Have students read the stry again and answer the questins in 1c.
Check the answers tgether and explain any difficult pints.
Encurage students t think deeply and express their wn understandings.
(四)Prductin (10 minutes)
1. Ask students t match the characters with their pinins in 1d.
Check the answers and have students explain their reasning.
2. Divide students int grups and ask them t give advice t these characters.
Each grup selects a spkespersn t share their grup's ideas with the
class.
(五)Summary and Hmewrk (5 minutes)
1. Summarize the main pints f the lessn, including the stry, the language
pints, and the mral.
2. Assign hmewrk:
Ask students t retell the stry t their parents r friends in English.
Ask students t write a shrt passage abut what they have learned frm the
stry.
五、教学反思
在本次公开课中,通过多种教学方法的运用,学生的积极性得到了较好的调
动,尤其是在讨论和小组活动环节,学生能够积极参与,表达自己的观点。但在
教学过程中,也发现部分学生对于故事中一些较复杂的句子理解还有困难,在今
后的教学中需要加强对长难句的讲解和练习。同时,在时间把控上还需要进一步
优化,确保各项教学活动能够更加紧凑和高效地完成。
