    Students’Activities
    1. Watch and answer— What clubs are there? Can yu briefly describe the activities in these clubs?
    2. Match and talk— Which club d yu like? Answer the questin with the help f the different expressins. Read the pictures and d the match. Then describe the fur pictures briefly.
    Aims
    T intrduce the tpic, use sme expressins and enlarge students’knwledge f student clubs.
    Listening
    Students’ Activities
    1. Task 1: Listen fr the gist.
    Read the questins and try t predict the answers tgether with students. Intrduce the three surces we can guesses the answers frm: the evidence available, persnal experience, and ne’s reasning ability. Replay the cnversatin. Mre time is needed t be spent n cnversatin 1. Students may feel cnfused fr the first time As mre evidence available with the practice f blank filling, the predictins are refined and students can get the answer happily.
    Dn’t listen fr a single wrd but fr the whle sentence.

    T predict the answers with the present chices.
    2. Task 2: Listen fr details
    — Listen and tick.
    It is imprtant t carefully g ver the questins and the answer chices befre listening. And listening fr these infrmatin helps t draw a cnclusin.

    Wrk in grups and chse ne f the clubs frm belw, r create a new club yu think thers wuld be interested in jining.
    Discuss the fllwing infrmatin: club name, slgan, aim, activities, meeting time and place.
    Prepare an intrductin fr yur club.
    Make a pster if necessary. (share sme fr example)
    Shw their wrk!
