(T represents “What have yu knwn abut basketball?” W represents “What d yu want t knw abut basketball?” L represents “What did yu learn abut basketball in this lessn?”)
Ask Ss t think abut the questins in 2a and fill in “K” and “W” in the chart.
Ask Ss t find a partner, share their ideas with their partners.

much-lved adj. 深受喜爱的,此结构是由“副词 + 过去分词”构成的形容词。
非限定性定语从句是先行词的一个附加修饰语,对先行词只起进一步说明的作用,有时对于主句做进一步说明,因此通常用逗号把它和其他句子分开。
divide... int...的意思是“把分成”。divide和separate的区别是:
divide指把一个整体分为若干部分,常与int搭配。separate指把原来在一起的个体分开,常与frm搭配。
stp ... frm ...的意思是“阻止做”,与其意思相近的是keep sb. frm ding sth.,也表示“阻止某人做某事”。
lk up t的意思是“钦佩;仰慕”, 相当于admire,其中t为介词,其后可接名词或代词作宾语。

Teaching Reflectin
This is a perid in which students d mre practice in reading. The teacher shuld practice the students’ ability f reading quickly and efficiently. While reading, help the students learn hw t catch the main idea and the mst imprtant ideas as quickly as they can by mind-mapping. They learn sme new wrds and new language items when they are finishing the tasks and reading the article again and again.
Understanding hw t use the passive vice is still the difficult pint in this perid. Students can find the sentences in the passive vice and learn t use them when talking abut the game.
