6.知识点探究。

1. by mistake 错误地，是介词短语，意为“错误地；无意地；不小心地”，指由于错误的判断而造成的失误，常在句中作状语。

mistake...for…把…错认为, 错把…当作;  make a mistake/ mistakes “犯错误”。

2. in the end ,at the end of, by the end of.

in the end “最后，终于”，与at last、finally同义。

at the end of… “在……尽头”，“在……结束时”。

by the end of…“到……为止，到……时候”，常与将来时态或过去完成时态连用。
